The Mazama - Handmade, top-quality leather cover for field notes journals, passport - with cash pocket and credit card sleeves
Introducing the Mazama, cousin to the Scout, but sized for an A6 notebook. Customize with your choice of colors of Pueblo Leather, imported from the world-famous Badalassi Carlo tannery in Tuscany, Italy. Two additional slots for cards plus a pocket for cash or receipts. Each cover is handmade from premium Italian Pueblo leather and hand-stitched with durable Ritza Tiger thread, ensuring years of durability and reliability.
This unique item is made from three different colors of Pueblo leather. I know choosing the right combination of colors can be a bit intimidating, so if you have any questions, please reach out, and I will work with you to get the combination that you will treasure. For example, if you want to see how walnut, ortensia, and emerald all look together, I will send you a photo of the three colors together to help you make a decision.
The primary color is the outside color, the secondary color is the color used for the stash pocket on the left and right, and the tertiary color is the topmost color of the leather used for the interior card pocket and the exterior pocket that can be used as either a stash pocket or for an additional small notebook (field notes sized).
When ordering, let me know if you prefer the additional pocket on the inside (works best with notebooks that don’t have an elastic closure or you don’t plan to use it) or on the outside, or if you prefer to have it omitted. I always double check, and as always, my goal is to make an heirloom quality journal cover that will outlast us all.
Each item is made to order and saddle-stitched by hand for a ridiculous level of durability, and includes a lifetime guarantee on the stitching.
